Full-Day Developmental Support
Children have a dependable day that includes play, learning, rest, social connection and everyday routines. Our support workers and caregivers help each child participate and practise skills at a comfortable pace.
Sindara is a child and youth centre in Jos, Plateau State, for children and young people aged 3–16. We offer a welcoming place to play, connect, learn and build everyday skills, with support shaped around each child.
We welcome enquiries from families of children with autism, ADHD, Down syndrome and other developmental disabilities or support needs. A diagnosis is not required to ask about our services.
Every child is different. We speak with the family, learn about the child's strengths and needs, and consider whether Sindara can provide appropriate support in our setting. If another service would be a better fit, we will discuss that honestly with the family.

We work with families to identify meaningful goals for their child. Support may focus on communication, emotional regulation, participation with others and growing independence.
Our therapists and consultants provide support and guidance according to each child's needs. This may include play-based therapeutic support and approaches that help with communication, emotional regulation, behaviour and sensory participation.
Professional services are provided within each practitioner's qualifications.
We support children to take part in age-appropriate routines, such as self-care, making choices, managing transitions and becoming more confident in daily life.
The Hanger is a welcoming space for play, creativity and connection. Children can explore their interests and spend time with peers, with support to participate in ways that feel comfortable to them.
Parents and caregivers know their children best. We listen to their priorities, share meaningful updates and work with them on goals that matter to their family.
Parents and caregivers can contact Sindara directly. Schools, professionals and community members are also welcome to refer a child or introduce a family to us, with the parent's or guardian's knowledge and permission.
A referral starts a conversation. We will speak with the family about the child's needs and explain the next steps before any service is arranged.
